Saimar Agosto Salgado, MD - Consultant, Eisai
Laura Boucai, MD is a board-certified endocrinologist and internist with particular interest in thyroid cancer. As part of a team of surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and nuclear medicine specialists, she works to improve and advance the care of patients with this condition. She completed her internship and residency at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Boucai was a fellow in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. As part of her academic career, she spent four years as a faculty member at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is an active member of American Thyroid Association and Endocrine Society. Her research interests are focused on achieving a better understanding of the pathogenesis of thyroid cancer. She is committed to working in close collaboration with basic scientists with the goal of identifying new therapies for this condition.
